NCRD Pool Closure
On Monday November 18, 2024 we had a medical event at the Nehalem Pool that resulted in the closing the pool. Today, after meeting with grief counselors and talking to staff, management has decided to close the pool for the remainder of the week.
The pool will re-open on Monday Nov. 25th.
Staff needs some time to continue to process and grieve. We feel that it would honor the loss of our community member to keep the pool closed at this time.
Thank you for your understanding.
November 21, 2024 *2:15 pm and *3:45 pm *Times are approximate and subject to change without notice.

North County Recreation District is a thriving community center offering a wide range of programs, classes and services. We have achieved our original goals and many more, enhancing the quality of life for everyone living in the district as well as visitors to the area. Over the years we have been able to invest over $2,000,000. on capital projects and improvements and remain completely debt-free throughout those projects. In November 2020, NCRD passed a bond to help finance the new pool project.
