North County Recreation District is a place that encourages members of the community to come together. NCRD's facilities feature an Aquatics Center, Fitness Center, Youth Center, Performing Arts Center, Art Gallery, Rex Champ Sports Field, and Event Spaces for rent.
North County Recreation District is pleased to offer facility rentals for residents, non-residents and organizations. Event Spaces provide rental opportunities for corporate events, conferences, workshops, birthday parties, receptions, meetings, and more. From classroom seating to banquet-style dining, these spaces can accommodate a variety of needs, both private and public.

Paying homage to the architect of our historic schoolhouse, this multi-use space has carpet flooring and a large wall of windows. Ideal for workshops and larger meetings.
This casual room features a gas fireplace, kitchenette, baby grand piano and upholstered furniture. Ideal for social gatherings or informal group meetings of 15-20. In addition, a single gallery-display wall, with adjustable lighting, provides a smaller space for visual artists to reserve monthly, to show and sell original works of art. Featuring original wood floors and skylights, this is a unique multi-use space to host events of many kinds. Adjacent to the Gallery, through a folding wall, is the Kitchen. Renting both spaces is ideal for larger events. Special gallery-display walls, with adjustable lighting, are reserved monthly by visual artists to show and sell original works of art. With original wood floors, the multi-use Gymnasium accommodates special events, banquets and fundraisers. Adjustable-height basketball hoops, and an optional bounce house rental, make it a perfect indoor birthday party location for active games and activities of many kinds.
While not a certified commercial kitchen, this space is equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, two sinks and limited counter area. The Kitchen is along the wall at the end of a large multi-purpose room ideal for community meetings, workshops, parties and potlucks. The Kitchen is adjacent to the Gallery through a folding wall. Renting both spaces is ideal for larger events.
Located on Hwy 101, between Manzanita and Nehalem, across the highway from the Shell Gas Station, this outdoor sports field features fenced, large manicured lawn space for outdoor activities of many kinds, including games on the softball diamond. The Sports Field is open to the public at no charge. Reserved use of the Sports Field is available at published Rental Rates.
With windows on two sides of this room framing a view of the Nehalem River valley, this carpeted multi-purpose room accommodates gatherings of many kinds.
Providing a sense of our history as a schoolhouse built in the 1920’s, this carpeted multi-purpose room features chalkboards and other original detailing. Especially ideal for classes and meetings.
